In this video, we'll demonstrate the para stepping and paravision workflows for the Artist Icono ceiling system. Parry is only clinically relevant from the right or left side position. It can provide a maximum of 11 steps, which make a total of 12 acquisitions including the start position. Peripheral examinations can also be performed with an RAOLAO angulated C arm up to 30°, but the angulations can't be changed between the steps. Please note the direction of the stepping is linked to the patient registration position. Move the C arm to a left side position and adjust the table height so that the patient is as close as possible to the flat detector. Set the detector rotation to portrait for one leg or landscape for bilateral runoff. In this example, we examine the pelvis leg arteries. For this example, position the patient in a feet first supine position. After positioning the patient centrally on the patient table, immobilize the patient's knees. This is important to avoid motion artifacts. Select the required para stepping acquisition protocol. The system position when choosing the protocol determines the start position of the C arm. Perform a test run to check the position of the examination region and to make sure that no collision will occur. Please note the acquisition will be cancelled if there's a collision. To begin the para stepping workflow, perform a brief fluoroscopy in the start position, then trigger steps by deflecting the C arm joystick towards the feet of the patient until you reach the next position. The movement is carried out step by step until you've stopped at all positions. Where required. Perform a fluoroscopy column eight, position the finger filter and change the measuring field. The message Dr. stepping test phase NM is displayed to show the current step which is N in our example in the maximum number of steps which is M After completing the test phase, start the para stepping return phase. To do so, make sure that the C arm is still in the end position of the test phase. If possible, start this step immediately to avoid patient movements. Instruct the patient not to move and to hold their breath. Press the exposure release button or pedal to start the acquisition series. Make sure to keep it pressed until the fill phase is complete. Following the return, the fill phase begins. To trigger the fill phase briefly press the multi functional button on the hand switch. The message Doctor stepping fill phase in M is displayed. If you've integrated an injector, it receives an automatic start signal to administer the contrast media when the system returns to the start position. Otherwise, perform the injection manually. Press the exposure release button or pedal to start the acquisition series. Make sure to keep it pressed until the fill phase is complete. Watch the vessels fill with contrast media on the screen. Trigger a step when the optimum contrast media filling, which is around 2/3 of the image field, has been attained. Press the multi functional button on the hand. Switch in time to move to the next position. The message Dr. stepping completed is displayed, Para stepping is automatically deselected and the series is displayed on the screen. For Perivision, the preparation will be the same once the test phase in M is completed. Instruct the patient not to move and to hold their breath. Press the exposure release button or pedal to start the acquisition series. Make sure to keep it pressed until the mask and fill phase are complete. While the acquisition button is pressed, the mask phase will be performed for each step. When the C arm returns to the starting position for the fill phase, use the multi functional button to move to the next step in M. Please note, don't release acquisition when performing the parry mode, otherwise acquisition will be aborted and the contrast injection will be wasted.
