This video explains how to manually move the C arm and stand in the event of a system or power failure. When motorized movements aren't available, please observe the following protocol to ensure patient safety. Monitor the patient throughout the process to prevent any risk of compression. Remove any accessories or equipment that obstruct the path or interfere with the rescue operation. Move the system and table into suitable positions so that you can access the patient unhindered. To move the top stand, press the emergency stop button. To release the lock, push the top stand from both directions, flat detector and X-ray tube side. Otherwise the stand will rotate. Then push the top stand by applying sufficient force. To move the floor stand, press the unlocking push button on the floor stand. Swivel the floor stand by applying sufficient force. If you have a standard or multi tilt table, press the table unlocking pedal and rotate the patient table slightly.
