Please consider the following for the brake test: • Conduct the brake test with no patient on the table and no additional loads. • Perform the test in the fixed time interval to check whether the brakes are working properly. A brake malfunction can lead to uncontrolled movements, which could injure a patient or clinical staff, or damage property. • The system will notify you if no brake test has been performed in the configured time interval. Stand test necessary within # days will appear under system messages. After this time has expired, the stand speed will be reduced. Case Flows Display Exam Favorites 2. Press the stand/C-arm joystick down and deflect it away from you. Keep it pressed and deflected until the brake test ends. The system drives to the parking position first. When you have reached the parking position, the message Stand Test: Deflect joystick to perform stand test # s is displayed on the exam room display. A count down starts. Keep the joystick still pressed and deflected until the end of the test. 4. When the brake test starts, the message Stand Test: running... is displayed. The system performs the brake test for each axle. Once the brake test has been started, you can interrupt the stand test at any time by releasing the joystick. However, you cannot continue the brake test. You need to do the test again from the beginning. 5. Depending on the outcome, the system will show one of the following messages: System message Stand Test: Successfully completed You can move the system as usual. No system movement: Stand test failed, All movements of the stand are blocked. SC You can still move the table though. If the test failed, call Customer Service. When you see that message, you can release the joystick.
