With the table control module (TCM), you operate the table. In the following, we will explain how to move the patient table. ? SPEAKERTEXT OF VIDEO: In this video you will learn how to adjust the table position using the panning knob. The panning knob is located on the table control module (TCM). The panning knob directs movements for the table. Press down on the panning knob to release table movements. Push in the direction that you would like the table to move. Table movements are motor assisted. When in position, release the panning knob. Please note: The direction of motor assisted table movements, depends on the location of the control modules in relation to the system. There is an indicator on the control module that demonstrates the location of the control modules in relation to the system. The blue LED indicator indicates the current position of the control modules. To change the orientation of the control modules, for example when moving the control modules to another location on the table, press the key on the underside of the control module, next to the emergency stop button. ? The keys to move the table up and down are located in the center of the table control module. To move the table up, press on the top key. To move the table down, press on the lower key. ? SPEAKERTEXT OF VIDEO: In this video you will learn how to adjust the table position using the touchscreen of the Pilot control module. Table movements can be released directly on the table control module. Additionally, movements can be released in the Table menu on the touchscreen. On the touchscreen, you can adjust the table height and additionally table tilt, table cradle and table transversal and longitudinal movements. Use your finger to scroll through the menu options. Touch the required function. The respective submenu opens. For example, when you touch the table tilt function, the respective submenu opens. Touch and hold to tilt head up. Or, touch and hold to tilt head down. To return the table to the zero-degree position, touch and hold the centering function. ? Rotate the patient table You can rotate the patient table by using the hand grip, the foot pedal, the pilot control module or the table control module. Please note: The functions shown on the hand grip can only be used on an ARTIS multi-tilt table. Select the tab arrows for more information. When the function is active the LED will appear blue. Rotate the table while pressing on the knob on the TCM. Foot pedal Press the pedal to release the table. Rotate the table. With the pedal pressed, the table will not lock into position. Release the pedal and the table will lock when in an increment. When the table is engaged in a lock an audible click will be heard. Please note: In the event of a power outage, the pedal is the only method to rotate the table. Hand grip Only for the ARTIS multi-tilt table: Push the button under the grip to release the table. Rotate the table. ? Safety features You need to pay attention to several safety-relevant features while using the patient table. Select the tab arrows for more information. Rotate the table. With the pedal pressed, the table will not lock into position. Release the pedal and the table will lock when in an increment. When the table is engaged in a lock an audible click will be heard. Block table movements Press the highlighted button to block table movements. When the LED is blue the table movements are blocked. Table weight limit Before positioning the patient on the table, pay attention to the table weight limit. It is important that you consider not only the patient weight, but also the weight of the accessories on the rails, and the weight needed in the event that cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required. Pressing down on the panning knob releases motor-assisted table movements, which are controlled by pushing the knob in the desired direction. The Pilot control module’s touchscreen can be used for table adjustments. The touchscreen allows adjustments to table height, tilt, and other movements.
