
ADVIA® 2120i Autoslide Overview Video
This video provides an overview of the ADVIA® 2120i Autoslide hardware and software.
Welcome to the ADVIA 2120 I auto slide overview. The optional auto slide is connected to the ADVIA 2120 I hematology analyzer and is controlled by the ADVIA 2120 I software. The auto slide automatically prepares and stains high quality blood smears for white blood cell differential analysis and microscopic examination. This video will identify the hardware components and the software functionality of the auto. Slide. The front door allows access to the slide maker portion of the auto slide. When opened, the slide maker portion of the system stops operating. The slide dispenser holds slides. And moves them into. Position for smear preparation the rack loader holds up to 9 racks and can be loaded at any time. The glass particle tray collects small particles of glass that may be chipped off the slides during transfer. The Stainer access door allows access to the staining wells. When the door slides open, the auto slide operation stops. The staining wells are located in the staining assembly. The Rackout cue collects racks loaded with slides. The manual inlet door opens to insert a manually made smear, which will be stained in the Stainer. The overflow tray collects extra fluid from the Stainer. Reagents consist of stain, buffer, methanol, rinse and water. The stain waste container collects stain waste and is located below the auto slide. The auto slide. Software functions are integrated in the analyzer software. In the next portion of this video, you will learn about some of the most common software functions found in these icons. To access the auto slide status screen, select the operations icon and then select auto slide. This screen shows the states of the components of the auto slide. Green indicates it is ready, red indicates an error has occurred. To access the auto slide control screen, select auto slide control. Here you can perform maintenance or troubleshooting procedures like. Startup. Shutdown, reset. The smearer reset. The auto slide and fast stop the auto slide.
