ADVIA® 2120i Analyze Samples Job Aid

This job aid explains how to analyze samples on the ADVIA® 2120i System.

ADVIA 2120i SIEMENS Healthineers Analyze Samples Analyze samples with the Autosampler 1. Insert the tube into the rack with the barcode label visible above the rack barcode label that indicates the rack number and sample position. • Do not twist the tube within the rack. If the tube needs to be repositioned, remove it from the rack first, reposition the tube, then reinsert the tube into the rack. 2. Load the rack onto input queue with the labels facing the front of the analyzer. (Continued on next page) Note: Load samples in the following order: 1. Optional: Whole blood primer (with whole blood primer label) 2. Controls 3. Patient samples (with sample ID labels) Note: Workorders are created within the Laboratory Information System 1 (LIS). The LIS is queried when a sample ID is read by the analyzer.
