ADVIA 2120i SIEMENS Healthineers Add a New User As Needed – 1. Navigate to Home > Tools > Manage System Users . 2. Select Manage Users User Logon 4 . 3. Select Add New User . 4. Enter a new User Logon (user code) name. Active 5 • If the option to send user codes with results to the LIS is active, only the first 3 characters of the user name are sent. Must Change PW 6 V Ensure that the first 3 characters of the user logon names are unique. First Name 5. Select Active to enable the user to log on the system. 7 • Active is the default. Deselect the Active checkbox to Last Name deactivate the user. A deactivated user cannot log on to the system. User Type 8 Guest 6. Select Must Change PW . • Must Change PW is the default for a new user. The user Set/Change Password must change the password upon next logon. 7. Enter a first name and last name for the user. • The user name must be a minimum of 2 characters and a Password maximum of 50 characters. 9 8. Select a User Type from the drop -down list. Confirm Password 9. In the Set/Change Password area, enter a temporary password for the user and re -enter the password in Confirm Password . Passwords must have a minimum of 8 characters. 10 Save • 10. Select Save . 1 Note: Only Managers, Engineers, and Administrators can add users. Navigate to Home > Tools > Manage System Users. 2. Select Manage Users. 3. Select a user from the Logon column. 4. Select Edit Selected User. 5. Update the user details. • The User Logon cannot be changed. 6. Select Save.
