ACUSON Freestyle™ Elite with Artis Access – Quick Card All imaging parameters can be controlled by the Freestyle Probe Frequency Range / Probe On/Off LED/ probe. Slide up and down the Index Marker Index Marker Slider Controls to highlight a function on the right side of the screen. To increase an imaging parameter (e.g. Gain and Depth) select the + on the +/- Remote Control soft key, to decrease + +/- Remote a selected parameter select Image Control the - on the +/- Remote Midline Soft Keys Control soft key. Marker Slider Control 1. Power ON, the ACUSON Freestyle ™ Elite Ultrasound System with Artis Access 2. Start procedure with fully charged batteries (use at the top center of the screen, , to check charge status on screen) 3. Remove a battery from one of the charger bays and insert into the probe 4. Sheath the probe 5. Simultaneously select and hold the +/- Remote Control soft keys to power on the probe 6. Release Remote Control soft keys when audible tones are heard 7. Stay within 3 meters / 10 feet of the external antenna 8. Maintain an unobstructed line of sight between the probe and the external antenna Depth Please see second 9. To end the exam either begin a new patient on the Artis or close the exam on Artis Reviewing Images. and images will automatically transfer 11. In this view mode, select + on the +/- Remote Control • soft key to see the next image, select - on the +/- Remote Control soft key to see the previous image To exit view mode / resume scanning select • Scan Viewing completed exams on the Study List 1. Select View 2. Select List 3. Slide the Slider Control to highlight a patient name / exam 4. Select - on the +/- Remote Control soft key to highlight the first image of the selected study 5. Slide the Slider Control to highlight a specific image 6. Select + on the +/- Remote Control soft key to view the selected image in full screen or - on the +/- Remote Control soft key to select a different study Note: Avoid selecting List as this function will take operator to the completed Study List, unless this is a desired action When modifying imaging depth, the on-screen depth display will temporarily turn blue until the change has taken full effect ACUSON Freestyle is a trademark of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.
