View recognition is available for the 12 standard transthoracic cardiac ultrasound views (PLAX, PLAX RVIT, PLAX RVOT, PSAX AV, PSAX, A4C, A5C, A2C, A3C, SUBC 4C, SUBC IVC, and SSN). AI Assist offers flexibility to the user with the ability to override and easily switch between AI-driven and manual placement. Incorporating AI Assist into routine workflow has the potential to save exam time, standardize exams, and improve consistency and reproducibility all while reducing user reach and the risk for repetitive motion injury. For example, the A4C view has TV, AV/LVOT, MV, and Pulm V available while the A2C view only has MV available as it is the major structure visualized in the apical 2 chamber view. If the user wishes to override AI-driven placement, simply use the trackball to adjust; to reactivate AI Assist, press AI on the control panel.
