3D Orientation Using an Up / Down Flip Image Orientation Job Aid This image orientation mimics a posterior to anterior beam path requiring adjustments to maintain anatomical alignment. When using the U/D Flip feature, with the endovaginal transducer orientation marker at the 12 o’clock position, and the patient supine, the sweep begins at the patient right moving to the left. Acquisition (A) plane alignment Step 1 A B Tap to activate the A plane on the Touch Screen (orange outline C VR on image). Step 2 Rotate the sagittal uterus counterclockwise using the Color (Z) push-rotary control until the endometrium lies parallel to the bottom of the monitor. The green line and arrow on the B and C plane indicate rotation on the Z axis. Centering the Area of Interest Setup Step 1 Press the Set key, located adjacent to the trackball, to select the Position function. Position Size Curve Step 2 When using the A plane, center the green O reference marker to the desired area. With the B plane active, use the red O reference marker to center anatomy.
