3D acquisition protocols for ARTIS icono ceiling (VExx)
This job aid will review 3D acquisition protocols for the ARTIS icono ceiling system with VExx software.
3D acquisition protocols for ARTIS icono ceiling (VEXX) job aid Angiography – ARTIS software VEXX An additional job aid is available on PEPconnect to determine the software version of the system. • The ability to perform a 3D/4D acquisition on your ARTIS systems depends on purchased licenses and system capabilities. • Start Positions will vary depending on the ARTIS system type. Automatic/manual control for 3D acquisition The examination sequence depends on the 3D Control setting in the acquisition protocol: • If Auto is set in the acquisition protocol, then the movement of the C-arm starts auto- matically with the acquisition. I.e., the acquisition is started by pressing an exposure release button or pedal, and - the injection, mask, and fill phase occur automatically. If an injector is connected to the system and set to Armed, injection is also started au- - tomatically (possibly with a delay). If no injector is connected to the system or if it is connected but not set to Armed, - you must perform the injection manually. • If Manual is set, you must manually start a movement of the C-arm (and start the ac- quisition) with the multifunctional button on the hand switch. The acquisition is started by pressing an exposure release button or pedal, and the injec- tion must be triggered manually. The bolus can be monitored during the injection. When sufficient contrast medium filling has been reached, the mask/fill phase must be started by pressing the multifunctional button on the hand switch. If the fill phase is not triggered manually, it starts after 30 seconds.
